Clash Breaks Out in Kullu between police and BJYM workers as Protest Turns Tense at Dhalpur

Tension flared in Kullu on Wednesday after a protest by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers escalated into a confrontation with police at Dhalpur. The workers had gathered to stage a demonstration against the state government, planning an effigy burning as part of their protest

The video footage of the protest is going viral on social media, clearly showing confrontation between the BJYM workers and state police.

According to reports, police intervened before the protest could proceed and seized the effigy at the spot, triggering a heated exchange between the two sides. The situation quickly escalated into a scuffle, with both protesters and police engaging in verbal and physical confrontation.

The area remained tense for some time before authorities managed to bring the situation under control. No major injuries have been reported so far.
