Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu released “Buransh: The Fragrance of Words“, a poetry collection by Anupama Sharma, an English lecturer at Government Senior Secondary School (Girls), Hamirpur.
Speaking at the event in Shimla, the Chief Minister said the poems offer a quiet reflection on life, emotions, and the comfort we find in nature. He praised Anupama’s work for its honesty and depth, and noted how the verses gently explore themes of self-awareness and new beginnings.

The book, published by Satluj Prakashan, includes 39 poems across 56 pages and is priced at ₹150. All proceeds will go towards the Mukhyamantri Sukhashray Yojana.
Apart from being a writer and teacher, Anupama is passionate about biking, trekking, and sports—interests that often find their way into her writing. Her poems carry a sense of place and feeling that reflect her strong connection to the natural world.
